Upon receiving his Juris Doctor at St. Thomas University School of Law in 2004 and becoming a Barred Attorney the following year, Mark C. Keeney has proudly served individuals across Rockingham County, N.C. for nearly 20 years.
Throughout his career, Attorney Keeney has served as Rockingham County’s Assistant District Attorney 3 separate times, the last of which as the Chief ADA for over 3 years. He has worked with or for the previous 5 District Attorneys of Rockingham County, and has also held roles in various other capacities, gaining him the experience necessary to fight for the future of his clients.
His vast experience in law includes prosecuting and defending criminal matters, family law matters, contract law, and various other areas of civil law. In 2019, he joined Help, Inc. Rockingham County Square One Family Justice Center, as the attorney for the agency’s clients. Many of the matters he represented during his time here included domestic violence, sexual assault, and assisting victims of human trafficking.
